Those values are at the heart of the JROTC Cadet Creed that emphasizes working to better the cadet's family, school and country. Students who participate in JROTC classes focus on leadership skills, communication skills, history, citizenship, military drills, and physical fitness.
Cadet of the year is a cadet competition where cadets from cadet of the month are asked a series of questions about JROTC, graded by their appearance and drill movements, and overall fitness . This Month's Cadet of the year winner is Josh Anderson.
The drill team went over to Griffin high school for the state competition.
The cadets just recently received their new PT uniforms. The PT uniform is now mandatory for PT days.
With the help of the T-Shirt Committee and the votes of The RH cadets, We had created a new JROTC shirt that will be worn during PT or even for cadets or parents to rep out of JROTC! The Pt Uniform Project is still in motion, with the idea of shorts and a windbreaker to go along with the shirt.
